Area Updates for MLSOK
It’s been a long time coming. Here is a list of the updated area numbers for MLSOK. When AMLS merged into MLSOK Matrix, some new areas were created, while others were merged into existing areas.
There are no plans to replace the metro city map that is located as a link on Matrix (under Links, locate MLS Links to see MLS Map. It will remain online as a resource.
If you were with the Altus, Norman, or Western Boards below is the comparison of what area was used then and the subsequent areas in MLSOK. For those that were part of MLSOK prior to expansion will use the same areas previously used.
This will be in addition to the MLSOK map already in use as we have expanded to encompass key areas of the state of Oklahoma. For out of metro OKC area, we will no longer use area 501. Here is what was previously mapped in Matrix:
Here is the updated breakdown of the state. Please notice the boundaries for each quadrant are defined by either I-35 or I-40, and breaks off the panhandle on its own. We will still retain area 502 for out of state listings.
